This is the newest tour for the Foundation. Join our tour guide as we stroll thorough Fairmount meeting the members of early Denver’s snob crowd.
This walking tours visits the gravesites of members of Denver’s Famous , “Sacred 36” , the snob crowd of early Denver ! The tour will run approximatelky 3 hours including the stops mentioned below.
Also some added visits at those who might be in the “crowd” today !
Visit Louise Sneed Hill , the head of the pack. The lady that The Unsinkable Molly Brown called the snobbiest woman in Denver.
Learn about her famous affair with a married man while married to Mr. Hill!
THIS TOUR INCLUDES 3 STOPS FOR REFRESHMENTS!
1. The first stop is at Louise’s gravesite. Join us for a Tea party including ice tea, lemonade, dainty sandwiches and more like just Louise may have had!
2. Our second stop is at the private mausoleum of May Bonfils, Although not part of the Sacred 36, Louise thought them crass: the Bonfils owned a newspaper you know!
This 1920 ‘s stop includes beer tasting, pretzels and a look at a vinatge automobile from the 20’s. And we can not forget our special etertainment, by a very own “flapper’!
3. Our final stop is at the end our tour. You will join our staff at a candle lit buffet table with light resfreshments hosted by Mrs. Hill herself !
